  • 1 package King's Hawaiian rolls 12-count
  • 1/2 lb sliced deli ham
  • 1/4 lb provolone or swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce optional
  • 1 1/2 tsp poppy seeds optional
  1. Cut rolls in half. Place bottoms of rolls onto a baking pan or into a pyrex casserole dish.

  2. Layer ham and cheese onto roll bottoms, evenly distributing ham and cheese. Place roll tops on top of ham and cheese.

  3. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients - stir to combine. Pour butter/mustard mixture over rolls, just covering the tops. Cover with aluminum foil and set aside to soak for 10 minutes.

  4. Preheat oven to 350F. Bake at 350F, covered with foil for 10 minutes. Remove foil and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until cheese has melted and rolls begin to brown (do NOT broil).

  5. Remove from oven - slice and serve warm!

Recipe Notes

Storage: Best enjoyed warm from the oven. For leftovers: Wrap in foil then refrigerate for 3-4 days.
